Walking Tour

Our well trained guides will accompany you through the beautiful caverns on an easy walking tour. The tour typically lasts approximately 45-60 minutes, and is approximately a half mile in length. The pathways are a combination of concrete and gravel, and there are 27 stair-steps to reach the lower regions, and 26 on the way back up. The temperature underground in the summer months is 60-64 degrees Fahrenheit. Winter months the temperature averages around 54 degrees Fahrenheit.

Tours depart about every 30 minutes.

Reservations are not required for walking tours.

  We do have an optional "test crawl" available on the walking tour.

* Long sleeves, pants, and closed-toe shoes are required on all of the tours to the undeveloped areas of the caverns. No admission or refund will be given to people not properly attired.

* Basic helmet lights will be provided, however, you are welcome to bring your own light or flashlight if so desired.
